They may be the kings of Nickelodeon and BFF’s with 1D, but can Big Time Rush play nice with our brazenly bad bag of bafflers?
1) Name every member of One Direction… GO!
Carlos: Oh, we got this. Niall.
Kendall: Harry.
James: Liam.
Logan: Zayn.
Carlos: And Louis.2) When did you last pull a sickie?
Logan: I couldn’t make it to a couple of shows because we had to fly and I had an ear infection. The doctor said, ‘you’d be in the air screaming in pain.’
Kendall: We had to relearn the choreography because we’d never done a show without us all.
Carlos: My girlfriend wanted me to have dinner with her parents and I was like ‘Eurgh, I don’t feel well.’ I’d just finished a long day of rehearsals; I was exhausted! And she bought it.3) Who’s the best boy band of all time?
James: I think ‘N Sync. Purely on sales I think it’s them. We’ve met most of the people of the band and they’re incredibly nice people and so humble.
Carlos: Take That are definitely the biggest as far as British boy bands go.
Kendall: No, JLS are probably the biggest over here, right?
Logan: Some of their CDs aren’t available in the States. It’d be great to meet them.
Kendall: 1D and The Wanted have broken out more in the States though, right?4) Snog, marry, avoid: Victoria Justice, Selena Gomez, Miley Cyrus.
Logan: I’d marry Selena, snog Victoria Justice and avoid Miley.
Carlos: Dude, I agree!
Logan: Selena’s just so sweet.
Carlos: No, it’s because she’s Latin and she’ll make a good wife! Latin girls make great wives because they can cook very well, they can take care of you, they’ll be loving with your children and they’ll discipline them well. I’m Latin so I can say that.
Kendall: I can guarantee that Selena Gomez hasn’t cooked a meal for me in the past 5 years.
James: I actually see Miley all the time around the neighbourhood and she’s a really nice girl.
Carlos: I think Miley might be a fun snog!
Logan: No I’m not down with that. Victoria Justice.5) What’s the most annoying thing about girls?
Logan: There’s no right way to answer this…
Kendall: I really don’t like it when girls wear a lot of make-up, and just packs it on.
Carlos: Texting at the dinner table!
James: When they talk about all the other people they’ve hung out with that day - I’m just not bothered.
Carlos: How about when you grudgingly let them come over on a Sunday when you’re trying to watch the football and then they just talk through the game?6) Tell us something funny about your body!
Carlos: I’ve got a mole right between my chest that kind of looks kind of like three nipples.
Kendall: I have tattoos? But there’s no sixth toe or anything.
James: That reminds me, going back to the other question, do you know what else makes me mad about girls? When they’re like, ‘Don’t look at my feet they’re ugly.’ How can you be mad at your feet? They’re your feet!7) What’s the most shameful thing you’ve worn on TV?
James: I thought it’s be cool to slick my hair back for a photo shoot and wear a pimp suit with the hat. I looked like…
Carlos: A pimp! And not in a good way.
James: In this photo I’m also wearing a purple velvet blazer and gold shoes. I’m all about making a bold statement, but that was the wrong one.8) Why are you better than the Jonas Brothers?
James: We’re not… we’re definitely different. Our music is completely different. But those are the nicest guys in the world.
Carlos: They don’t dance. And we have four of us, so it’s like a bonus Jonas.9) Who’s the most famous person to compliment you?
Logan: President Obama. We played at the Christmas tree lighting and he introduced us as his daughters’ favourite band.
James: I can top that - Kermit The Frog once told us we were awesome.
